Regional Dialogue has been working closely with the Chamber of Advocates on the design and development of the project, providing support with establishing procedures for the competition, identifying the application requirements, assessment criteria, and selection process. On 6 December 2024, the awarding ceremony of the “Exceptional Lawyer - 2024” competition was held by the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with Regional Dialogue. The purpose of the competition was to identify and reward defense lawyers for their exceptional efforts and achievements in the field of human rights protection, their contribution to the development of the legal profession, and the justice system of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

We are delighted to officially announce the winners of the "Exceptional Lawyer 2024” competition: 

1. The award for active contribution to raising legal awareness in social networks was presented to Abdumalik Abdullayev.

2. The award for activism in scientific-legal research was presented to To`tiyoxon Sultonova.

3. The award for the art of advocacy speech was presented to Ergash Ishmuratov.

4. The award for the contribution of women to the legal profession was presented to Feruza Jalilova.

5. The award for contribution to the professional training of young lawyers was presented to Zafar Tuxtashov.

6. The award for pro bono activities was presented to Baxtiyar Kudaybergenov.

7. Rising Star Award was presented to Dilshodbek Kenjaboyev.
