Regional Dialogue Concludes Inspirational Guest Lecture Series for Uzbekistan Law Students Featuring "Exceptional Lawyer 2023" Winners

Regional Dialogue developed a student outreach program facilitating a series of guest lectures delivered by the winners of the “Exceptional lawyer-2023” competition for students of law colleges and law faculties across Uzbekistan.

The program aims to:

  • raise understanding and awareness among law students on the significance and importance of the profession of a defense lawyer;
  • create an opportunity for the Exceptional Lawyer 2023 winners, who are successful practicing lawyers, to speak about the benefits and advantages of the profession and share tips and advice on how to start a career in law;
  • share achievements with the law students and thus raise their awareness on the impact of their work on the legal industry, legal system and the society;
  • motivate the law students to continuously improve their skills and inspire them to pursue the profession of a defense lawyer.

Specific topics were tailored for each speaker based on their expertise and experience to better uncover their professional attributes and to enable them to share their personal success story. A total of 20 guest lectures were conducted across the country, which gathered a total of almost one thousand law students from both the law colleges and law faculties.
