Three day training program for Law Enforcement Academy staff

On June 16, 2025, Regional Dialogue, in cooperation with the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, launched a three-day training program for the academy’s staff members. As part of the program, funded by the U.S. Department of State, the goal of this training was to enhance skills in the field of open-source intelligence (OSINT) related to cryptocurrency, to address issues of combating money laundering (AML) and terrorist financing (CTF). Petra Gorjup, Head of the Regional Dialogue Branch in Uzbekistan, opened the training and wished all participants a successful learning experience. The three-day training program will focus on OSINT and practical tools related to cryptocurrencies and was be led by an Richard Joyce, RD's CTF/AML Consultant, followed by an OSINT specialist from Dublin who shared his experience online.
