In September 2023, Regional Dialogue organized a study trip for a group of Uzbek law enforcement experts to the United States for experience exchange and peer learning. The aim was for the senior management of the Law Enforcement Academy and the Prosecutor General Office Department for Countering Economic Crimes of Uzbekistan to discuss the roles and practices in AML, CFT, cryptocurrency regulations/ investigations, and cybercrime investigations as well as law enforcement education.

The group had meetings at the US Department of State (DoS) CounterTerrorism (CT) Bureau, US Secret Service (USSS) Global Investigative Cybercrime Intelligence Unit, US Department of Treasury (DoT) -Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Global Sanctions Unit, the DoT FinCen, and the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy as well as the US District Court- Washington DC during the 5-day visit.
