This was just one of the questions posed to the students at Tashkent Law College by visiting lecturer Dan Hassenfeld, US lawyer, during his engaging lecture on the Rule of Law and Legal Ethics. In addition to this topic, the students also delved into discussions about confidentiality, duty to support, integrity of the court process, and responsibility to clients and to courts. Hassenfeld emphasized that maintaining the Rule of Law in society is not solely the responsibility of the state but also the duty of lawyers.

The lecture was supported by Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL).
