Regional Dialogue, under the US State Department's DRL Bureau grant and in partnership with the Tashkent State University of Law organized a workshop on the Assessment of learning on June 20-21, 2022. For that purpose, RD engaged Kris Franklin, professor of law at New York Law School, and Rory Bahodur, professor of law, James R. Ahrens Chair in Tort Law Washburn University School of Law. Throughout the 2-day workshop, the goals of learning and assessment to design assessment tools that meet the specific needs of each course or teacher were considered. By adopting and modeling active learning methodologies experts demonstrated that effective feedback and assessment are achievable by all dedicated instructors in any subject. During the workshop TSUL faculty gained the understanding that evaluation, feedback, exam creation, grading, and post-exam review should all be part of the teaching process and not considered a distinct and additional pedagogical load. Participants were introduced to learning strategies with the use of which, they are able to generate effective evaluation methodologies for each of their classes. At the end of the event, participants expressed enthusiasm about the experiential learning and a deeper understanding of assessment methodologies gained through it and would like to have more such events in the future.
Региональный Диалог в рамках гранта Бюро DRL Госдепартамента США и в партнерстве с Ташкентским государственным юридическим университетом 20-21 июня 2022 года организовал семинар по оценке обучения. С этой целью РД привлекла Криса Франклина, профессора права Юридической школы Нью-Йорка, и Рори Баходур, профессора права, заведующего кафедрой Джеймса Р. Аренса в области деликтного права на юридическом факультете Университета Уошберна. На протяжении двухдневного семинара рассматривались цели обучения и оценки для разработки инструментов оценки, отвечающих конкретным потребностям каждого курса или учителя. Приняв и смоделировав методологии активного обучения, эксперты продемонстрировали, что эффективная обратная связь и оценка достижимы всеми преданными преподавателями по любому предмету. В ходе семинара преподаватели ТГЮУ пришли к пониманию того, что оценивание, обратная связь, создание экзамена, выставление оценок и после экзаменационный анализ должны быть частью учебного процесса, а не рассматриваться как отдельная и дополнительная педагогическая нагрузка. Участники были ознакомлены со стратегиями обучения, с помощью которых они могут создавать эффективные методологии оценки для каждого из своих классов. В конце мероприятия участники выразили энтузиазм по поводу экспериментального обучения и более глубокого понимания методологий оценки, полученных в результате этого, и хотели бы больше таких мероприятий в будущем.
2022-yil 20-21-iyun kunlari AQSh Davlat departamentining DRL byurosi granti doirasidagi Mintaqaviy Muloqot va Toshkent davlat yuridik universiteti bilan hamkorlikda “Ta’limni baholash” mavzusida seminar tashkil etildi. Kris Franklin, Nyu-York huquq maktabi professori va Rori Bahodur, Jeyms R. Ahrens Ushbern universiteti huquqshunoslik fakultetining huquq professori 2 kunlik seminar davomida har bir kurs yoki o'qituvchining o'ziga xos ehtiyojlariga javob beradigan baholash vositalarini loyihalashni o'rganish va baholash maqsadlarini ko'rib chiqishdi. Mutaxassislar faol o'qitish metodologiyasini qo'llash va modellashtirish orqali samarali fikr-mulohazalar va baholash har qanday fan bo'yicha barcha o'qituvchilar tomonidan amalga oshirilishi mumkinligini ko'rsatdi. Seminar davomida TDYU professor-o‘qituvchilari baholash, fikr bildirish, imtihonlarni yaratish, baholash va imtihondan keyingi tekshirish o‘quv jarayonining bir qismi bo‘lishi va alohida va qo‘shimcha pedagogik yuk hisoblanmasligi lozimligi haqida tushunchaga ega bo‘ldilar. Ishtirokchilar o'quv strategiyalari bilan tanishdilar, ulardan foydalangan holda ular o'zlarining har bir darsi uchun samarali baholash metodologiyasini yaratishga muvaffaq bo'lishdi. Tadbir so‘ngida ishtirokchilar tajriba asosida o‘rganish va u orqali olingan baholash metodologiyalarini chuqurroq tushunish uchun kelgusida bunday tadbirlar ko‘proq bo‘lishini so'rab qolishdi.
